This is the pinnacle of our wine making at Lake Cooper Vineyard. Only our very best fruit and oak barrels are selected for this wine. It displays all the hallmarks of great Heathcote Shiraz with rich, super-ripe blackberry and spice fruit characters to the fore. The palate carries this forward with the added complexity of velvet-like tannins and twelve months of oak barrel maturation. A wine which can been joyed now or cellared for a decade or more.

Food Combination: Perfect match for rich, salty, and juicy dishes. The bold tannins and layered spice notes enhance the crispy skin and succulent meat of roasted duck. Slow-braised lamb shank is also pairs beautifully, as does aged cheese.
